I added this myself with a cable tie. And you definitely need some extras for the machine to release the best use, e.g. the metal spring for more elasticity as well as the extension for more easy use. In our opinion, the machine has just enough impact force to do a good penetration, but could be too less for some people. In a nutshell, we are more than happy with the product, even if the price for the extras is quite heavy.
